This was a question that I pondered for hours when starting by the business.

Freelancers and agencies are two different types of business models that offer unique benefits and challenges.

Here are some pros and cons of becoming a freelancer or agency:

Pros of becoming a freelancer:

  1. Flexibility: As a freelancer, you have the freedom to choose your own projects and work on your own schedule. This can be a great option for people who value flexibility and want to have control over their work environment. You can choose to work as much or as little as you want, and you have the ability to take time off whenever you need it.
  2. Low overhead: Freelancers don't have the same overhead costs as agencies, such as office space and employee benefits. This can make it easier to get started and keep costs low. You don't have to worry about paying for rent, utilities, or other expenses associated with running a physical business.
  3. Independence: Freelancers are their own boss and have complete control over their business. This can be very rewarding for people who enjoy being in charge of their own destiny. You can choose which clients to work with, set your own rates, and make your own decisions about how to run your business.

Cons of becoming a freelancer:

  1. Lack of stability: Freelancers don't have the same level of stability as agency employees. They are responsible for finding their own work and may go through periods where they have little or no income. This can be stressful and unpredictable, and it can be difficult to plan for the future.
  2. Limited resources: Freelancers don't have access to the same resources as agencies, such as support staff and specialized equipment. This can make it harder to take on larger projects or offer a wide range of services. You may have to invest in your own tools and equipment, which can be expensive.
  3. Lack of benefits: Freelancers are responsible for their own insurance and retirement savings, which can be a financial burden. You may have to pay for your own insurance and set aside money for retirement, which can be difficult on a freelance income.

Pros of becoming an agency:

  1. Stability: Agencies have a more stable business model, with a steady stream of clients and regular income. This can provide a sense of security for employees. You can expect to receive a regular paycheck, and you don't have to worry about finding your own clients.
  2. Resources: Agencies have access to a wide range of resources, including support staff and specialized equipment. This can make it easier to take on larger projects and offer a wide range of services. You can rely on the resources and expertise of the agency to help you complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  3. Employee benefits: Agencies can offer employees benefits such as health insurance and retirement savings, which can be a major advantage. You don't have to worry about paying for your own insurance or setting aside money for retirement, which can be a major relief.
  4. Business Sale: If you're thinking long-term you may want to sell your business. If you have a well-established business with a unique agency name, you're more likely to sell it than if you were a freelancer.

Cons of becoming an agency:

  1. Overhead costs: Agencies have higher overhead costs, such as office space and employee benefits. This can make it more expensive to run a business and can eat into profits. You may have to pay rent, utilities, and other expenses associated with running a physical business, which can be a financial burden.
  2. Less flexibility: As an agency employee, you will likely have less control over your schedule and work environment. You may have to work set hours and follow the rules and policies of the agency. This can be a drawback for people who value flexibility and independence.
  3. Less independence: As an agency employee, you will have to follow the rules and policies set
